1. Overview

These Terms of Service apply to users who access or use the PixBridge mobile app, website, policy pages, or related services.

By using PixBridge, users should understand that features, availability, data handling, pricing, and policies may change as the service develops.

Data handling, including Analytics-related processing, is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

PixBridge is a mobile Camera-to-API client. It allows users to register a server address, configure request or transmission settings, optionally enter authentication tokens, capture photos with a mobile camera, send those images to the user's configured server API, and display selected fields from the JSON response.

PixBridge does not generally provide its own image analysis server during normal app use. The analysis, storage, processing, and response behavior of a connected API are determined by the server selected by the user.

3. Service Availability

PixBridge may add, remove, suspend, or change features over time. Access may be limited, interrupted, or discontinued, and service information, policies, and interfaces may be updated.

Users should avoid relying on PixBridge for critical, emergency, or legally sensitive workflows unless they have independently reviewed and accepted the risks.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for server URLs, API configuration, request settings, token management, and images uploaded through PixBridge.
  • Users must have the right to capture, upload, transmit, and process any image they use with PixBridge.
  • Users should avoid sending images containing personal, sensitive, confidential, or third-party information unless they have appropriate authority and safeguards.
  • Users should protect authentication tokens, avoid overly broad tokens, and revoke tokens when no longer needed.
  • Users are responsible for managing subscriptions through the app store subscription settings or the payment management menu in the app when applicable.
  • Users are responsible for complying with laws, contracts, and third-party API terms that apply to their own use.

5. User-Configured Servers and APIs

PixBridge sends images to the API endpoint configured by the user. PixBridge does not control how that server stores, analyzes, shares, deletes, or secures the images and responses it receives.

Users should only connect servers and APIs that they own, control, are authorized to use, or have carefully reviewed.

6. Prohibited Use

Users should not use PixBridge to:

  • Violate applicable laws or the rights of others.
  • Conduct unauthorized surveillance or monitoring.
  • Upload images without proper rights, consent, or authority.
  • Abuse, overload, attack, or bypass restrictions of third-party APIs.
  • Attempt to disrupt PixBridge, related infrastructure, or other users.
  • Submit malicious files, harmful content, or credentials that the user is not authorized to use.

7. Third-Party Services

PixBridge may rely on third-party services such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Cloud Functions, RevenueCat, Tally or similar form services, GitHub Pages, Google Play Billing or Google Play payment services, app stores, and user-configured APIs.

Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, security practices, and availability limitations. PixBridge is not responsible for third-party systems controlled by others.

PixBridge may analyze non-identifying or limited app usage information for service operation, error category analysis, security, performance, feature improvement, subscription conversion analysis, and user experience improvement. More specific information about Analytics is provided in the Privacy Policy.

8. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Account Deletion

PixBridge may offer paid features, subscriptions, or entitlements through RevenueCat and app store or play store payment providers. Payment, refund, renewal, cancellation, chargeback, and dispute processes may be handled by those providers under their own terms.

RevenueCat and app store or play store payment providers may retain purchase and subscription records under their own policies, even after a PixBridge account is deleted.

Deleting a PixBridge account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. Users may need to cancel subscriptions through the app store subscription settings or the payment management menu in the app.

Users can request account deletion in the app through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Users may also send a data deletion request to personalplanet.apps@gmail.com.

After account deletion, PixBridge deletes app usage data stored on PixBridge-controlled systems, such as server addresses, Bearer tokens, response presets, send records, app settings, the Firebase Authentication account, and local cache where supported by the app. Limited records may remain for payment, refund, subscription management, chargeback or dispute handling, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

9. No Professional Advice

PixBridge is a software tool for camera-to-API workflows. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, security, compliance, or other professional advice. Users should obtain professional review where their use case requires it.

10. Service Changes and Availability

PixBridge may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed for operation, security, product improvement, or legal reasons.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

PixBridge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PixBridge does not make guarantees about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every server API.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PixBridge will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for losses caused by user-configured servers, third-party APIs, user-provided tokens, uploaded images, payment providers, subscription platforms, or external services outside PixBridge's control.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to all users.

13. Termination

PixBridge may suspend or restrict access if a user violates these terms, creates security risks, abuses the service, or uses PixBridge in a way that may harm others. Users may stop using PixBridge at any time.

14. Changes to Terms

PixBridge may update these Terms of Service as the app, third-party services, business model, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
